PhD Student in Translational Biosciences Program

Jeff Erickson is originally from a small town located in central Minnesota called Sebeka. He studied Biochemistry and Cellular Biology for his undergraduate studies at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, MN. Upon graduating, he got accepted into Washington State University and joined Dr. Wipawee “Joy” Winuthayanon’s reproductive biology lab. Currently, he has moved with the lab to continue his graduate studies under Dr. Winuthayanon’s mentorship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. At Mizzou, Jeff plans to continue his work on developing a non-hormonal contraceptive for women. When not at lab, he enjoys exploring the surrounding areas natural beauty as well as frolicking around Columbia's downtown.
