Kalli Stephens

PhD Student

PhD Student in the Translational Biosciences Program.

Kalli is originally from Southern Utah. She received a B.S. in Genetics and Cell Biology at Washington State University (WSU) in May 2023. She joined the Winuthayanon lab at WSU in Fall of 2019. She is continuing her research for her MARC and Barry Goldwater Scholarships with Dr. Winuthayanon remotely as the lab has now moved to the University of Missouri. Kalli’s project focuses on analysis of the content’s of extracellular vesicles from the mouse oviduct during preimplantation embryonic development. She has been recently accepted to the PhD in Translational Biosciences Program at the School of Medicine, University of Missouri. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, and camping with her husband, Hayden and dog, Lani. Kalli also previously attended culinary school for bread and pastry and is a great pastry chef.
