Kalli Stephens

Kalli is originally from Southern Utah. She received a B.S. in Genetics and Cell Biology at Washington State University (WSU) in May 2023. She joined the Winuthayanon lab at WSU in Fall of 2019. As a PhD student at University of Missouri Kalli's project focuses on utilizing 3D-cell culture to mimic the microenvironment of the oviduct and fallopian tube in mouse and human models. In addition she is working on characterizing the cargo of in vivo extracellular vesicles of the mouse oviduct during preimplantation development. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, and camping with her husband, Hayden and dog, Lani. Kalli also previously attended culinary school for bread and pastry and is a great pastry chef.
