Undergraduate Research Associate

Makenna Shifflett is a first-generation student from a small town in Conway, Missouri. Makenna is studying Biochemistry and will graduate in May of 2027. She joined Winuthayanon lab at the University of Missouri in 2024.  Makenna is working towards entering medical school, where she plans to pursue a career as an Anesthesiologist in underserved communities. Makenna enjoys traveling, paddleboarding, and snowboarding.
